There comes a time when our dreams do not serve us anymore. We may begin to realize that we once dreamed our dreams to serve ourselves. We may realize that this service to ourselves is but a dream, and within our dreams we may awaken. We may dream our dreams and do. And upon this doing, unknowingly, we are leaving a hole in our heart for the space of more dreams. This space begins to expand and expand like a tireless balloon. This space naturally invites others to dream within this space.
Where once we moved into ecstatic fruition of Self, fully ripened, the fruit erupts into a grandeur of giving to another unexpectedly. We dream our dreams and upon no will of our own, they suddenly include others. This emptying of our dreams into a larger space invites others to dream within us. In the quiet of the night we will awaken to the fact that our dreams have matured. Our dreams take on the shapes and apparitions of others.
We begin to dream others' dreams. We do for others' dreams. We have moved beyond the necessity of self into a grander or, rather, a greater orbit that involves others we may not even know. We are dreaming their dream to do. We realize that we are so sick and tired of ourselves. We become exhausted of ourselves. We have served all our essential needs, and our dreams have dried up into a fragrant potpourri of superfluous necessity. Within that brilliant moment arrives a bolt of clarity. Eventually, our emptiness and solitude dumps out of our heart, and the invitation for others floods within as a welcoming to others. When our eyes close in self-absorption, we will become so empty of ourself that the space automatically and quite naturally invites the hopes and wonders of others. With a deep and reverent fascination, we open our heart like angelic wings swooping steadfastly to take a pronounced collection of air for elevation only to realize that this final farewell to selfish desires escalates those around us-within us. We have not sacrificed one bit of ourselves. We have not given too much, we have not overextended, we have other-actualized the transparency of our heart and claimed no self in the process. We have entered an entire landscape of selfless giving unexpectedly. From which our self once dreamed now is rooted within the hearts of others. We have merged the finality of our own essence into the eternality of the Other.
